Every couple is unique and has their own ideas about how to express themselves on their special day. It is important to me that your ceremony is truly a personal experience. During my ceremonies and vow renewals, I can incorporate different variations to enhance the symbolism of your marriage and I always make room for your own personal vows.
Unity Sand Ceremony
Before the ceremony the Sand, Unity Sand and Unity Bottle are placed on a table, you may use colored sand or sand from the beach where you are getting married.
"You have committed here today to share the rest of your lives with each other.
Today, this relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand."
One representing the Bride - All that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
Bride pours some of Grooms sand first into the Unity Bottle
The other representing the Groom and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
Groom pours some of Brides sand
"As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container,
The individual containers of sand will no longer exist,
but are joined together as one.
Bride and Groom pour the rest of the sand together
Just as these sands can no longer be separated so will your marriage !
